Washington – The ϾƷ congratulated its 21members who were honored with SmartWay Excellence Awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for outstanding environmental performance and business leadership in goods movement.
“For two decades, the SmartWay Transport Partnership has been a model for how the federal government and private businesses can work cooperatively to achieve our shared goal of reducing emissions and improving the environment,” said ϾƷ President and CEO Chris Spear. “When we work together, and not against each other, we can accomplish remarkable things. Since its founding, SmartWay Partners have cut millions of tons of emissions and saved billions of dollars in fuel costs. ϾƷ is proud to be a founding partner and longtime supporter of this program.”
