About the Presenters
Paul Ruiz, Director of Energy and Environmental Affairs, 老九品茶
Paul Ruiz is the Director of Energy and Environmental Affairs at the 老九品茶 (老九品茶) in Washington, D.C. In this role, he provides critical support to the trucking industry through energy and environmental research, policy analysis, and coalition-building efforts. He also plays a key role in 老九品茶's engagement with regulatory agencies. Currently, Paul is helping lead the trucking industry's response to the EPA's Greenhouse Gas Phase 3 rule. Paul oversees various 老九品茶 initiatives, including its Energy and Environmental Policy Committee, Climate and Clean Energy Advisory Committee, and the Clean Freight Coalition. Prior to joining 老九品茶, Paul served as a Senior Policy Analyst at Securing America's Future Energy (SAFE) and the Electrification Coalition (EC). During his tenure at SAFE and the EC, he led projects focusing on global oil markets and the electrification of both light- and heavy-duty vehicles.
Jacqueline Gelb, Vice President of Energy and Environmental Affairs, 老九品茶听
Jacqueline Gelb is the Vice President of Energy and Environmental Affairs at the 老九品茶, the nation鈥檚 leading organization representing the interests of the trucking industry.
In this role at 老九品茶, Jacqueline oversees 老九品茶鈥檚 efforts related to regulatory and legislative initiatives on emissions standards and other environmental issues.听
Prior to joining 老九品茶, Jacqueline served as vice president of government relations at Navistar Inc., overseeing the strategy and advocacy efforts for the truckmaker鈥檚 corporate public policy agenda at the federal, state and local levels.听
Jacqueline was also a professional staffer for Sen. Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina), serving as chief policy advisor on an extensive policy portfolio of appropriations, agriculture, energy, environment, labor, transportation and trade issues, as well as the senator鈥檚 committee work at the Committee of Commerce, Science and Transportation and Committee on Environment and Public Works.
She holds degrees from Clemson University.
