About the Presenters:Ìý
Rich Pianka, ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Legal Affairs; ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è Litigation Center Chief Counsel
Rich Pianka is General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Legal Affairs, for the ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è, where he advocates on behalf of the industry before Congress and the executive branch on a wide range of legislative and regulatory issues. In addition, as Chief Counsel of the ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è Litigation Center, he is responsible for advancing and defending the interests of motor carriers in the nation's courts, and regularly represents ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è in litigation with broad policy implications for the trucking industry.
Rich came to ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è in 2012 from the general and appellate litigation practice at Mayer Brown LLP. Previously, Rich clerked for Chief Judge Danny J. Boggs of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and is a graduate of Princeton University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Georgetown University Law Center.
